Medical thermography (thermovision)
- this is method of the functional diagnostics. It has the important purpose and advantage, comparable with the roentgenography, US, CT and MRT, which are applied only for the assessment of the organs structure (i.e. of their morphological [anatomic-histological] peculiarities).

Thermography visually and with measurement (with a high exactness 0.01 oC/mm2) estimates infra-red (thermal) radiation from the bodys surface, where temperature influences from the inner structures are distributed.

Functional organs condition is reflected in its temperature. It is connected with the fact that biochemical processes in the organism (organs, tissues, cells) are revealed by the corresponding temperature reactions.

This diagnostics allows estimating functional changes (!) in the dynamics. It means to watch for the changes directly during the treatment being conducted.

Thermography allows specifying:
  • exact localization of functional changes,
  • pathological process intensiveness,
  • process activity (increase or decrease of the functional intension,
  • prevalence (locality or diffusion),
  • character of changes (inflammation, stagnation, malignancy),
  • dynamic changes of the functional condition of the organ or a bodys part.

Thermography is used at the diagnostics of such diseases as:

  • Spine,
  • Digestive tract,
  • Thyroid gland,
  • Nervous structures,
  • Vessels,
  • Mammary glands,
  • ENT organs,
  • Skin,
  • Immune structures,
  • Gynaecologic bodies,
  • Kidneys etc.

Spine MRT data dont replace Thermographical diagnostics

The inflammation center (it is pointed out by the arrow) at the spinal disc herniation is defined by means of thermography only. It explained an absence of efficiency from the medical influence above the spine. Totally a patient didnt show complaints on the changes in the spine area (MRT showed normal results, palpation method sensitivity changes). Reirritation of paravertebral sympathetic nodes. All of these patients showed very similar complaints. But due to the individual peculiarities inflammation localization was differed among everybody! These thermographical data appeared to be rather important during the medical process.

How may a doctor estimate expressiveness and localization in the head or spine, not using thermography?
How much is the patient sure in his sensations?
